I've spent all day making decisions. I don't want to open the bathroom cupboard and hold another meeting.

This is my regular cream now. Familiar amount, comfortable moisture, no lengthy deliberation. "Reliable" might sound like faint praise, but from me it's exactly the compliment intended.

Pleasant to apply is a fairly important quality in something I'm meant to use every day. I won't finish a cream simply because I approved of the ingredient list.

This one, in a thin layer, gives me the moisturized feel I'm after before sunscreen. It's the kind of small comfort I notice without needing to make a big speech about it.

Does the job.

Bare face, sunscreen, happy skin 🤍

Early light waits for nobody. Moisturizer, sunscreen, camera bag. Out I go.

The most useful adjustment wasn't finding another product to layer underneath. It was using less cream.

Initially I tried to use everything I'd put on my hand. Now I spread the Daily Barrier Cream in a thin layer, paying attention to the different areas of my face. My forehead doesn't need the same application as my dry cheeks.

That has worked better for my own makeup prep. I can then apply sunscreen and base without feeling I've started with too much product. I work with makeup, so I notice these small application choices; they matter more to me than adding another step for its own sake.

Run. Shower. Moisturize. Back to work.

Daily means daily 👍

Once lessons start, my own face is fairly low on the list of things I'm checking. A dependable cream before work is useful. This has been a pleasant way to give myself a minute before I start looking after everyone else's forgotten pencils and PE kits.

First paycheck shopping cart: excessive.
Final order: one cream 💸
Still figuring out my preferences. For now I'm going to actually finish this one instead of adopting a new product every payday lol.

Children ready? Nearly. Missing sock? Obviously 😅 At least my moisturizer decision is made. I use this before sunscreen and move on. The 70 ml size is handy when a product is getting used every day.

There is a dog at the door conducting a very strict assessment of how long I take to get ready 🐕

I've got this cream down to an amount I can spread easily, followed by sunscreen. Apparently that's an acceptable delay before a walk. Try taking longer and the sighing starts.

Jokes aside, I've been happy using it consistently. It's a nice everyday moisturizer for me, and the morning walks make it almost impossible to forget. Credit where it's due: my skincare reminder has four legs and absolutely no patience.

Rehearsal can run late. Getting home, removing my makeup, and putting this on is a welcome change of pace 🎶 No audience, no notes, just a cream I'm enjoying for ordinary everyday use.

Another set of squats? Sure. Another five skincare steps? Absolutely not 🏋️ This cream will do nicely.

Trying new skincare can be enjoyable. Reconsidering every product every morning isn't.

With this cream, I've learned the amount that suits me and stopped wondering what else I ought to be adding. There are drier days and easier days, so the application isn't identical each time. Being familiar enough with a product to make that call has been more useful than constantly looking for a replacement.
